Returns & Refunds Policy

At The Whiff Shop, we take great pride in curating exceptional niche fragrances and ensuring they reach you in perfect condition. If for any reason you're not satisfied with your purchase, we're here to help—with fairness and transparency for both our customers and our small business.


Return Eligibility

  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days of delivery.

  • To be eligible for a return, items must be unopened, unused, and in original, sellable condition, with the cellophane wrapper (if present) fully intact.

  • We do not accept returns on opened, tested, or used items, including partially used perfumes.

  • Due to the nature of our products, sample sizes and discovery sets are final sale.


Return Process

  • Please contact us at steph@thewhiffshop.com with your order number and reason for return to initiate the process.

  • Once approved, we will provide a prepaid return label (free return shipping within the U.S.).

  • Returns must be postmarked within 5 business days of return approval.


Damaged Items

  • If your item arrives damaged, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the shipping box, the product, and the damage in question.

  • All damage claims are subject to review. We may request the item to be returned for inspection.

  • If the damage is confirmed, we will offer a replacement of the same item. If the same item is no longer available, store credit will be issued equal to the value of the item(s).

  • We do not issue refunds for damaged items.


Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days.

  • We do not charge restocking fees.


Non-Returnable Items

  • Opened or used perfumes

  • Sample vials or discovery sets

  • Final sale or promotional items


Fraud Prevention

To protect our business and ensure fairness:

  • Returns on frequently abused items may be flagged for review.

  • We document product weight and condition before shipment to prevent tampering.

  • Suspicious return activity may result in account suspension or refusal of service.
